Bass Electronics ground flare cameras are designed with the same technologies that have made Bass furnace cameras virtually indestructible in very high radiant energy applications. Redundant cooling systems ensure that the camera, lens, ancillary components and cables are unaffected by the tremendous amount of heat generated during a flare event.
Regulatory compliance must also be of concern when selecting a flare camera system. Not only must the camera, and equipment survive but it must also satisfy the EPA’s 40 CFR 63.11 for recording the event. Due to the complicated nature of Flare Cameras, a Bass Electronics consultant should be consulted so that a system may be designed that will meet your exact requirements.
